Digital and Tech Exhibition to Be Held Along with G7 Digital and Tech Ministers' Meeting

Joint Press Release with the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and Digital Agency

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), Digital Agency, and Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications (MIC) will hold the Digital and Tech Exhibition at G Messe Gunma in Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture, from April 28 to 30, coinciding with the G7 Digital and Tech Ministers’ Meeting in Takasaki, Gunma.

1. Digital and Tech Exhibition

The Digital and Tech Exhibition is being held in conjunction with the G7 Digital and Tech Ministers' Meeting in Takasaki, Gunma with over one hundred companies and organizations in Japan attending with the aim of promoting Japan's advanced technologies to the other G7 countries and promoting international development and cooperation in the future.
The exhibition venue is open to the general public, so anyone who is interested in cutting-edge technologies in areas such as mobility, communication, robots, and video is encouraged to complete the advance registration (below) and enjoy the event.

2. Outline of the event

Date and time

April 28 (Fri.), 2023, from 11:00 to 17:00 (Last entry: 16:30)
April 29 (Sat.), from 10:00 to 18:00 (Last entry: 17:30)
April 30 (Sun.), from 11:00 to 16:00 (Last entry: 15:30)

Venue

G Messe Gunma Exhibition Halls B and C (12-24 Iwaoshimachi, Takasaki City, Gunma Prefecture)
A free shuttle bus to and from the event will be operating from the east exit of JR Takasaki Station on the day of the exhibition

*Note*
During this period, the entrances of G Messe Gunma's parking lot and south side (Keibajo-dori side) will be closed for security reasons. Please use public transportation and enter through the north entrance.
