Japan-Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Lighthouse Initiative for Clean Energy Cooperation Announced

On Sunday, July 16, Japan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) decided the establishment of the Japan-KSA Lighthouse Initiative for Clean Energy Cooperation, coinciding with a visit by Prime Minister Kishida to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
On Sunday, July 16, Prime Minister Kishida visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and held a meeting with Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman.
Recognizing net-zero and clean energy ambitions, the two leaders decided to establish the Japan-KSA Lighthouse Initiative for Clean Energy Cooperation, as shown in the attached document.
