Parliamentary Vice-Minister Yoshida Receives Courtesy Call from Ms. Indiana Trejos, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade of Costa Rica

Mr. Yoshida Nobuhiro, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry stated that Costa Rica is an important partner country which shares fundamental values with Japan, and that Japanese companies operating there are contributing to the creation of employment and economic development in Costa Rica. He also explained Japan’s efforts regarding the ALPS treated water. 
Ms. Indiana Trejos, Vice Minister of Foreign Trade, while touching on the contribution that Japanese companies operating there are making, emphasized the attractive environment for investment in Cost Rica. 
They also exchanged views on collaboration in multilateral issues such as the WTO and cooperation in the field of 5G.
