Minister Nishimura Holds Meeting with the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, Canada

On Tuesday, October 31, Mr. Nishimura Yasutoshi, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry held a meeting with the Honourable Mary Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, Canada, during her visit to Japan.
On Tuesday, October 31, Minister Nishimura held a meeting with Minister Ng, Minister of Export Promotion, International Trade and Economic Development, who is visiting Japan with Team Canada Trade Mission to Japan, at the Embassy of Canada to Tokyo. They exchanged views on further bilateral cooperation based on Minister Nishimura's visit to Canada in September, cooperation in the CPTPP, and the outcome of the G7 Trade Minister‘s Meeting held in Osaka.
Minister Nishimura, together with Minister Ng, attended the Team Canada Trade Mission reception held at the Embassy and delivered the guest address. In his remarks, Minister Nishimura reaffirmed the importance of the Japan-Canada relationship and his expectations for strengthening the partnership between the two countries.
