Parliamentary Vice-Minister Yoshida Attends the Annual EU-Japan Business Roundtable

Mr. Yoshida Nobuhiro, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade, and Industry, attended the annual　EU-Japan Business Roundtable, a meeting in which the industrial sectors of Japan and the EU propose policy recommendations to their respective governments.

This year's assembly was marked by the significant participation of both Japanese and EU government and private sector representatives. Among the attendees were distinguished figures such as Mr. Endo Nobuhiro, Executive Advisor to NEC Corporation (Chairman on the Japanese side), and Mr. Philippe Wahl, Chairman and CEO of La Poste Groupe (Chairman on the EU side). Parliamentary Vice-Minister Yoshida highlighted the importance of, and challenges related to cooperation between Japan and the EU in the fields of economic security, trade, environment, energy, and the digital sector. He presented Japan's initiatives and policies in these areas, paving the way for a productive exchange of views.
