Japan-U.S. Partnership on Trade (Fourth Meeting) Held

On December 14th and 15th, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Office of the United States Trade Representative held the fourth round of meetings of the Japan-U.S. Partnership on Trade. They discussed topics such as digital, critical minerals supply chain, trade practices of third countries, labor, and multilateral cooperation from the viewpoint of strengthening the Japan-U.S. trade cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region as well as their cooperation on global agenda. 

On December 14th and 15th, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, and Office of the United States Trade Representative held the fourth round of meetings of the Japan-U.S. Partnership on Trade. Director General MATSUO Takehiko from the Trade Policy Bureau of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, Director General KATAHIRA Satoshi from the Economic Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Assistant U.S. Trade Representative Christopher Wilson from the Office of the United States Trade Representative attended the meeting. They discussed topics such as digital, critical minerals supply chain, trade practices of third countries, labor, and multilateral cooperation from the viewpoint of strengthening the Japan-U.S. trade cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region as well as their cooperation on global agenda. The attendees also exchanged views on bilateral trade issues.
