State Minister Iwata Delivers Congratulatory Address at the Special Public Event "Inclusive Economic Growth and the Role of the Private Sector in Ukraine’s Reconstruction" Co-hosted by UNDP and JETRO

On Tuesday, February 20, Mr. Iwata Kazuchika, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry. delivered a congratulatory address at the special public event Inclusive Economic Growth and the Role of the Private Sector in Ukraine’s Reconstruction, co-hosted by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). In his address, he touched on the achievements of the Japan-Ukraine Conference on the Promotion of Economic Reconstruction held the previous day.

The event featured lectures and panel discussions focusing on the role of private companies in Ukraine's reconstruction. In his congratulatory address, State Minister Iwata highlighted initiatives such as the Memorandum of Cooperation between JETRO and UNDP which had been announced at the Japan-Ukraine Conference on the Promotion of Economic Reconstruction held on 19 February, and the establishment of the JETRO Kyiv Office. He expressed his hope for the creation of a business environment that leads to active corporate activities.
