State Minister Iwata Holds Meeting with H.E. Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones of Oman

On Tuesday, April 23, Mr. Iwata Kazuchika, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Dr. Ali bin Masoud Al Sunaidy, Chairman of the Public Authority for Special Economic Zones and Free Zones (OPAZ) to exchange views on bilateral economic relations such as Japanese companies entering into the market in the Sultanate of Oman.

Based on the joint statement signed with the Omani Minister of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion during his visit to the Sultanate in March this year, State Minister Iwata exchanged views with his counterpart regarding exchanges of business stakeholders in both countries through sending business missions, as well as the expansion of Japanese companies into special economic zones and free zones in Oman.
