Mr. Yoshida Nobuhiro, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Ahmed CHAFRA, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Tunisia to Japan, and exchanged opinions on bilateral economic cooperation.
Parliamentary Vice-Minister Yoshida welcomed the courtesy call from H.E. Mr. Ahmed CHAFRA, Ambassador-Designate of the Republic of Tunisia to Japan.
During the meeting, they deepened discussion for promotion of economic exchanges, as Tunisia is a country located at the gateway to the Middle East, Africa and Europe, with a market that holds great potential for Japanese companies. In addition, they confirmed cooperation on upcoming events such as the 5th Japan-Arab Economic Forum that is due to take place next month in Tokyo, The Ninth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD 9), and EXPO 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
