Minister Saito Holds Meeting with H.E. Dr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Minister of Industry of Indonesia

On Friday, June 21, 2024, Mr. Saito Ken, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Dr. Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, Minister of Industry of Indonesia. They exchanged opinions about industrial fields such as automobile and energy so that Japan and Indonesia can jointly realize co-creation to develop industries and human resources to lead the future of both countries.
With the bilateral relations elevated under the new partnership last year, they confirmed during the meeting to further strengthen cooperation in the field of automobile industry and energy through the Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC). They also agreed to enhance collaboration to further deepen bilateral economic relations.
