Minister Saito Holds Meeting with Mr. M. Arsjad Rasjid P. Mangkuningrat, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN)

On Wednesday, July 3, 2024, Mr. Saito Ken, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Mr. M. Arsjad Rasjid P. Mangkuningrat, Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry （KADIN）, and the two exchanged opinions on automobile and energy sectors among other topics, for the purpose of strengthening bilateral economic relations with Indonesia and with ASEAN nations.
During the meeting, they confirmed the importance of moving forward with concrete projects through close coordination between the business communities of the two countries and those between Japan and other ASEAN nations. They agreed to further strengthen cooperation to build next-generation human networks, promote open innovation, and advance the initiatives for Asia Zero Emission Community (AZEC).
