State Minister Iwata Receives Courtesy Call from Mr. Sergio Mujica, ISO Secretary General

On Friday, November 8, Mr. Iwata Kazuchika, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from Mr. Sergio Mujica, Secretary General of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
During the courtesy call, Mr. Iwata explained Japan’s policy trends concerning its initiatives for international standardization. Both sides also exchanged views on the importance of standardization in industry. Mr. Mujica expressed his appreciation for Japan's strong leadership and commitment towards realization of the ISO Strategy 2030.
