Parliamentary Vice-Minister Takeuchi Holds Meeting with Mr. Xavier Bertrand, President of Hauts-de-France Regional Council of the French Republic

On Tuesday, November 26, 2024, Mr. Takeuchi Shinji, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry held a meeting with Mr. Xavier Bertrand, President of Hauts-de-France Regional Council of France and exchanged opinions on further enhancing economic cooperation toward Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.

Parliamentary Vice-Minister Mr. Takeuchi welcomed President Bertrand’s visit to Japan and exchanged views on furthering bilateral relations. During the meeting, President Bertrand introduced a project aiming for decarbonization in the Hauts-de-France region. The two sides also discussed strengthening cooperation in bilateral relations as Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan, approaches, as well as promoting further investment between the Hauts-de-France region and Japan.
