Minister Muto Receives a Courtesy Call from the Delegation of the U.S. Congressional Study Group on Japan

On Tuesday, April 15, Mr. MUTO Yoji, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from the delegation of the U.S. Congressional Study Group on Japan (CSGJ), and the two sides confirmed the importance of Japan-U.S. collaboration.
During the meeting with the delegation of the CSGJ (Representative Frank Pallone Jr., Representative Diana DeGette (co-chair), Representative Andy Barr (co-chair), Senator Mazie Hirono (co-chair), Representative Troy Balderson, Representative Darin LaHood, Representative Tony Gonzales, and Representative Jill Tokuda), confirming the importance of Japanese companies’ role in the U.S. regional economies through investment and job creation, they exchanged views on Japan-U.S. economic relations.
