Parliamentary Vice-Minister Takeuchi Holds Meeting with H.E. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development of the United Arab Emirates (UAE)

On Wednesday, May 7, Mr. Takeuchi Shinji, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Ahmed Jasim Al Zaabi, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to exchange views on how to strengthen economic relations between Japan and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
During the meeting, both sides welcomed the convening of the Abu Dhabi-Japan Economic Council (ADJEC) in Tokyo on Friday, May 9, which mainly aims to facilitate trade and investment between Japan and the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Furthermore, in light of the growing presence of Abu Dhabi as a global business hub, they exchanged views on further bilateral cooperation in the fields of advanced technologies and other areas, in addition to ongoing collaboration in the field of energy.
