State Minister Ogushi Attends "Raisina Tokyo"

On Thursday, May 22, Mr. Ogushi Masaki, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry attended "Raisina Tokyo," and delivered a speech.
The international conference "Raisina Tokyo," co-hosted by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation, the Keizai Doyukai (Japan Association of Corporate Executives), and the Observer Research Foundation, India’s largest think tank, was held on Thursday, May 22. State Minister Ogushi attended and delivered a speech. The conference featured discussions by experts on themes such as the geopolitics of the Indo-Pacific, economic security, a circular economy, local governance, water and food security, and energy security.
In his speech, State Minister Ogushi mentioned that the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has initiatives such as the "Japan-India Industrial Cooperation Initiative" and the "Japan-India Cooperation Initiative for Sustainable Economic Development in Africa" which strengthen economic relationships between India and Japan. He also emphasized the importance of working together with reliable partner countries, including India, to strengthen supply chains and achieve economic security through these initiatives.
He additionally referred to the upcoming QUAD summit scheduled to be held in Delhi this year, expressing his expectations for meaningful discussions aimed at strengthening economic relations among the participating countries.
