METI and MIIT Hold the Fourth Vice-Ministerial Regular Meeting

On Thursday, May 29, the Vice-Ministerial Regular Meeting was held in Tokyo between Mr. Matsuo Takehiko, Vice-Minister for International Affairs of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Mr. Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). This meeting was established in 2012 and this is the fourth such meeting since its establishment.
Mr. Matsuo Takehiko, Vice-Minister for International Affairs of METI of Japan, and Mr. Zhang Yunming, Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) attended this regular meeting and exchanged views on policies, industrial situations, and improvement of the business environment of both sides in the areas of automobiles, start-ups, and other fields. They agreed to continue and further deepen dialogue and exchanges between METI and MIIT.
