Public-Private Mission to Be Dispatched to Ukraine (Kyiv and Lviv)

Representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA), and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), along with members of some Japanese companies, will visit Ukraine (Kyiv and Lviv) from Thursday, July 3, to Tuesday, July 8, 2025.

This visit to Ukraine is part of the dispatch of a mission by METI, MOFA, and JETRO to Ukraine and southeastern Poland. Japanese companies with a high level of interest in the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine will also join the mission.

During the visit to Kyiv, the capital, and Lviv, a city in western Ukraine, the Japanese side will exchange views with representatives of the Ukrainian government and companies for the country’s recovery and reconstruction.

Through the mission, concrete business projects will be developed with the aim of reconstructing Ukraine, and initiatives to support the country will be accelerated based on public-private collaboration.
