Parliamentary Vice-Minister Takeuchi Holds Meeting with Mr. Lukáš Vlček, Minister for Industry and Trade of the Czech Republi

On Tuesday, July 15, Mr. Takeuchi Shinji, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Mr. Lukáš Vlček, Minister for Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. Both sides exchanged views on development of bilateral economic relations and economic security.

During the meeting, both sides affirmed the outcomes of the June 2025 economic mission to the Czech Republic consisting of 22 energy or transportation companies and governmental organizations and its follow-up activities. They then exchanged views towards developing bilateral economic relations in the field of energy and other areas.

In addition, prior to the meeting, both sides signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in trade and investment promotion between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan and the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic. They affirmed the intention to promote inter-company and bilateral cooperation.
