Parliamentary Vice-Minister Kato Holds Meeting with H.E. Mr. Hassan El Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Arab Republic of Egypt

On Wednesday, July 23, Mr. Kato Akiyoshi, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Hassan El Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Arab Republic of Egypt, to exchange views on economic relations between Japan and Egypt.
During the meeting, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Kato welcomed the visit to Japan of H.E. Mr. Hassan El Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade of the Arab Republic of Egypt in conjunction with an Egypt National Day event held at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai. Both sides exchanged views towards strengthening bilateral economic relations.
In addition, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Kato mentioned the presence of Japanese companies in Egypt and asked for improvement of the business environment in Egypt towards accelerating investment and trade by Japanese companies.
