State Minister Koga Holds Meeting with Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Hon’ble Adviser, Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of Bangladesh

On Wednesday, September 3, Mr. Koga Yuichiro, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Dr. Salehuddin Ahmed, Hon’ble Adviser, Ministry of Finance of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. Both sides exchanged views on economic relations between Japan and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

During the meeting, State Minister Koga welcomed the frequent visits to Japan of Bangladeshi officials even after the interim government was established in August 2024. Both sides exchanged views on topics including challenges for promoting investment and business from Japan to Bangladesh.
They also affirmed that both countries will cooperate towards concluding negotiations for a mutually beneficial Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA).
