Parliamentary Vice-Minister Takeuchi Holds Meeting with Mr. Manuel Castro Almeida, Minister of Economy and of Territorial Cohesion of the Portuguese Republic

On Thursday, September 11, Mr. Takeuchi Shinji, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Mr. Manuel Castro Almeida, Minister of Economy and of Territorial Cohesion of the Portuguese Republic. Both sides affirmed continued collaboration towards strengthening bilateral economic relations.
During the meeting, both sides welcomed the upgrading of the relationship between Japan and the Portuguese Republic to the level of a Strategic Partnership. They also exchanged views on economic security, future opportunities for bilateral economic relations, and other topics, agreeing on continued close collaboration between their two countries.
