On Wednesday, November 5, Mr. Matsuo Takehiko, Vice-Minister for International Affairs of the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, attended the 8th China International Import Expo held in Shanghai, the People’s Republic of China, and held a meeting with Mr. Sheng Qiuping, Vice Minister, Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) of China. Both sides exchanged views on Japan-China economic cooperation and improvement of the business environment.

At the 8th China International Import Expo, Vice-Minister for International Affairs Mr. Matsuo visited the JAPAN MALL booth operated by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and exchanged views with the participating Japanese company officials.

On the same day, Mr. Matsuo had a meeting with Mr. Sheng Qiuping, Vice Minister of MOFCOM of China to exchange views on bilateral economic cooperation and improvement of the business environment.
