On Monday, November 17, Mr. Yamada Kenji, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with a Ukrainian public-private joint delegation headed by H.E. Ms. Galyna Mykhailiuk, the Co-Head of the Groups for Interparliamentary Relations with Japan. They exchanged views on the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine.

During the meeting, State Minister Yamada mentioned the progress of Japan-Ukraine economic cooperation to date, including the public-private mission recently dispatched to Ukraine, and stated that Japan will continue public-private support for the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine in collaboration with the international community. Both sides exchanged views on the potential for further cooperation towards the recovery and reconstruction of Ukraine and its economic development.
