On Thursday, December 4, Mr. Akazawa Ryosei, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Kudratov Laziz Shavkatovich, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and energy.

Minister Akazawa welcomed H.E. Mr. Kudratov Laziz Shavkatovich, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and energy.

Also looking ahead to the upcoming "Central Asia plus Japan" Dialogue Leaders’ Meeting to be held in the near future, both sides affirmed their commitments to building cooperative relationships that benefit both countries and to working towards further deepening economic relations through projects involving Japanese companies.
