State Minister Ino Holds Meeting with H.E. Seema Malhotra MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Indo-Pacific), Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom

State Minister Ino welcomed the visit to Japan of H.E. Seema Malhotra MP, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State (Indo-Pacific), Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office of the United Kingdom. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on topics such as strengthening the Japan-UK economic security partnership based on the outcomes of the Japan-UK Economic 2+2 Ministers’ Meeting and collaboration in international areas including the World Trade Organization (WTO) and the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). They agreed to promote cooperation in various areas towards strengthening bilateral economic relations.
