On Wednesday, December 17, Mr. Yamada Kenji, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and energy.

State Minister Yamada welcomed H.E. Mr. Jurabek Mirzamahmudov, Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the meeting. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the field of energy. In addition, looking ahead to the upcoming “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue Leaders’ Meeting to be held on Friday, December 19, and Saturday, December 20, 2025, both sides affirmed their commitments to building cooperative relationships that benefit both countries and to working towards further deepening economic and energy relations through projects involving Japanese companies.
