On Wednesday, February 25, Mr. Takuo Komori, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Mr. Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the Republic of India. Both sides exchanged views on Japan-India collaboration.
As the home to about 300 business sites hosting Japanese companies, the State of Uttar Pradesh is important for Japanese manufacturing.
Following Parliamentary Vice-Minister Komori’ message which touched upon the announcement of a new target of 10 trillion yen in private investment to India set during the Japan-India summit meeting in August last year, both sides exchanged views on topics including the presence of Japanese companies operating in Uttar Pradesh and Japan-India collaboration projects.
