State Minister Yamada Receives Courtesy Call from Co-Chairman of India-Japan Business Co-operation Committee and Chairman of Japan-India Business Co-operation Committee

On Friday, March 13, Mr. Yamada Kenji, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from the co-chairman of the India-Japan Business Co-operation Committee (IJBCC) and the chairman of the Japan-India Business Co-operation Committee (JIBCC). Both sides exchanged views.

State Minister Yamada received a courtesy call from Mr. Rohit Relan, Co-Chairman of the IJBCC, and Mr. Yasunaga Tatsuo, Chairman of the JIBCC.

In the meeting, Mr. Relan and Mr. Yasunaga handed to State Minister Yamada the joint statement of the 49th Joint Meeting of the IJBCC and JIBCC compiled on Thursday, March 12, by the two Committees.

Both sides exchanged views on ways to strengthen Japan-India economic relations involving small and medium enterprises, as well as touching upon the announcement of a new target of 10 trillion yen in private investment to India set during the Japan-India summit meeting in August 2025.
