On Friday, March 27, Mr. Komori Takuo, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from Mr. Sergio Mujica, Secretary-General of the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). They exchanged views on topics including Japan’s policy toward international standardization and its contributions to ISO.

During the courtesy call, Parliamentary Vice-Minister Komori exchanged views with ISO Secretary-General Mujica, outlining Japan’s policy toward international standardization such as developing human resource for standardization. Mr. Mujica expressed his appreciation for Japan’s international contribution and its specific efforts for standardization activities, and his expectations for continued progress of these efforts.
