State Minister Ino Receives a Courtesy Call from a Delegation of U.S. Senators

On Wednesday, April 1, Mr. Ino Toshiro, State Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, received a courtesy call from a delegation of U.S. Senators (Hon. Senator Jeanne Shaheen, Hon. Senator John Curtis, Hon. Senator Thom Tillis, Hon. Senator Jacky Rosen).
Both sides exchanged views on cooperation between Japan and the U.S. including in the critical minerals supply chains and investment in the U.S.
In the meeting, both sides reaffirmed the importance of cooperation in critical minerals, energy, and other areas, and of investment in the United States. They also exchanged views on strengthening initiatives which serve the mutual interests of Japan and the United States and fostering economic growth.
