Minister AKAZAWA Holds Online Meeting with H.E. Eng. Salim bin Nasser Al Aufi, Minister of Energy and Minerals of the Sultanate of Oman

At the meeting, Minister AKAZAWA expressed his sympathy for the damage caused in the Sultanate of Oman by the Iranian attacks. He also requested the expansion of the supply of petroleum products, in addition to the stable supply of crude oil and LNG.
Furthermore, the two ministers welcomed the signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Government of Japan and the Government of the Sultanate of Oman on the Joint Crediting Mechanism (JCM) on April 9. They agreed to foster bilateral cooperation in the field of clean energy and other areas.
