Joint Statement on the Stockpiling Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Department of Energy of the Republic of the Philippines Released

METI and the Department of Energy of the Republic of the Philippines issued a joint statement to promote cooperation related to strengthening oil stockpiles under the framework of the Partnership on Wide Energy and Resources Resilience Asia (POWERR Asia).
As an outcome of the visit of H.E. Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr., President of the Republic of the Philippines, to Japan, the two ministries issued a joint statement on cooperation regarding the strategic national petroleum reserve program in the Philippines and ASEAN-wide joint stockpiling.
