Parliamentary Vice-Minister OCHI Holds Meeting with Ms. Ragnhild Sjoner Syrstad, State Secretary of Trade, Industry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Norway

On Wednesday, June 3, Mr. OCHI Toshiyuki, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with Ms. Ragnhild Sjoner Syrstad, State Secretary of Trade, Industry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Norway. They affirmed their commitment to continuing collaboration towards deepening bilateral economic relations.
During the meeting with Ms. Ragnhild Sjoner Syrstad, State Secretary of Trade, Industry and Fisheries of the Kingdom of Norway, in light of the Japan-Norway Green Strategic Partnership Joint Communique signed in 2023 between the two ministries, the two sides discussed various topics including the current situation of bilateral trade and developments in bilateral cooperation, particularly in the field of clean energy including offshore wind power and Carbon dioxide Capture and Storage (CCS). They also exchanged views towards further strengthening bilateral cooperation.
