Parliamentary Vice-Minister Komori Holds Meeting with H.E. Mr. Francisco Tenya Hasegawa, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Peru to Japan

On Monday, June 15, Mr. KOMORI Takuo, Parliamentary Vice-Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Francisco Tenya Hasegawa, Ambassador-designate of the Republic of Peru to Japan. They exchanged views on topics including potential areas for collaboration between Japan and Peru in the fields of mining and new business areas.
During the meeting, while touching on the long history of friendship between Japan and Peru, both sides affirmed the importance of mutually beneficial economic relations. They also exchanged views on bilateral initiatives in various industrial fields including mining, and concurred on the importance of collaboration in international fora, including the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the World Trade Organization (WTO).
