Memorandum of Cooperation on Supply Chain Resilience Signed with the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy of the Italian Republic

On June 15, 2026, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy of the Italian Republic signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on Supply Chain Resilience.
Recognizing the importance of cooperation among like-minded countries on economic security and in international frameworks including the G7, Japan and Italy will continue to promote and deepen cooperation on supply chain resilience in areas such as semiconductors, critical minerals, and advanced technologies.
