Minister Akazawa Holds Meeting with H.E. Mr. Kudratov Laziz Shavkatovich, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan

On Tuesday, June 23, Mr. Akazawa Ryosei, Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Kudratov Laziz Shavkatovich, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan. They exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and energy.
Minister Akazawa welcomed the visit to Japan of H.E. Mr. Kudratov Laziz Shavkatovich, Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the two ministers exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the fields of economy and energy.
They welcomed the confirmation of concrete progress across a wide range of cooperation fields at the Central Asia plus Japan Dialogue Leaders’ Meeting held in December 2025, and affirmed continued collaboration towards further strengthening bilateral economic relations.
