Page display

Contents: Click to show the Contents.

Page List: Click to show the Page List.

Bookmark List: Click to show the Bookmark List.

Search Document: Click to search the entire document with any keywords.

Clipping List: Click to show the Clipping List.

Close: Click to close the open menu.

Options: Click to show the Options for changing settings.

Link embedded in page: Click within the area to go to a related page or open a related website in a separate window.
Note: This is not always shown.
Notification: This is a notification from the document provider.
Clicks the X mark to temporarily close this.
Note: This is not always shown.
Turn a page: Click to move one page. Push this button repeatedly to move through multiple pages without waiting for each page to open.
Zoom: Click on the page to zoom in on the page centered around where clicked.
Page number: This is the page number of the currently open page.

Menu Bar

Search: Input search keywords in the search input field, and click the search button to show the search results.
When entering multiple keywords separated by spaces, you can select a radio button to conduct an AND search, which finds results that include all keywords, or an OR search, which finds results that include any of the keywords.
Note: This function might not always be available.
Clear: Click to clear the search conditions.
Automatic page turning: Click to enable the automatically turning and display of pages.

Bookmark: Click to enable adding bookmarks to the pages.
For instructions see How to use Bookmarks.
Memo: Click to open the Memo palette, which allows you to make line drawings on the pages.
For instructions see How to use Memos.
Print: Click to open the Print palette, which allows you print an image of the page.
For instructions see How to use Print.
Note: This function might not always be available.
PDF: Click to open the PDF display palette, which allows you to view a PDF of a page.
For instructions see How to use the PDF function.
Note: This function might not always be available.

First/last page: Click these to move directly to the first or last page.
Back/Forward: Move one page. Push this button repeatedly to move through multiple pages without waiting for each page to open.
Scroll bar: Drag the control to move between pages.
For instructions see How to use the scroll bar.
Jump to page: Input the number of a page into the input field, and click the Jump to page button to move immediately to that page.
Zoom: Click to zoom in on the center of the page.
Zoom out: Click to zoom out with the center of the page staying centered.
Clip: Click and drag over a page to select an area to clip.

Help: Click to open a page that explains how to use the features and provides information about recommended operating environments.

Close: Click to close the Contents.
Backward/Forward: If the number of items on the first level of the Contents exceeds 25 items, use these to change the Contents items displayed.
Contents: Click on an item in the Contents to jump to that page.
To open a sub-level of a Contents item, click the "+" mark. Click the "-" mark to close a Contents sub-level.

Page List

Close: Click to close the Page List.
Backward/Forward: If the number of page spreads exceeds ten, use these to change the pages shown in the list.
Thumbnail image: Thumbnail images of the pages are shown.
Page number: The page numbers are shown.

Bookmark List

Close: Click to close the Bookmark List.
Backward/Forward: If the number of bookmarks exceeds ten, use these to change the bookmarks that can be seen in the list.
Show bookmarks by color: Click these to show only the bookmarks of a certain color.
Erase all: Click this to erase all bookmarks that have been added.
Thumbnail image: Thumbnail images of pages that have bookmarks are shown.
These thumbnail images are framed in the color of the bookmark placed on them.
Jump to page: Jump to the page with the bookmark.
Erase: Click to erase the selected bookmark.
Comment: The first lines of the comment input in the bookmark are shown.
Page number: The number of the page with the bookmark is shown.

Search Document

Close: Close the Search Document window.

Close: Click to close the Clipping List.
Backward/Forward: If the number of clippings exceeds 25, use these to change the Clipping List items shown.
Download all: Click to download all the clipped images at once.
Erase all: Click to erase all the clipped images.
Clipping number: This shows the number of currently clipped images.
Thumbnail image: A thumbnail image of the clipping is shown.
Page number: The page numbers are shown.
Jump to page: Jump to the page that is the source of the clipping.
Download: Click to download the selected clipping.
Erase: Click to erase the selected clipping.

Options

Close: Close the Options page.
Show Bookmarks: Use to set whether or not to show Bookmarks.
Show Memos: Use to set whether or not to show Memos.
Show links: Use to set whether or not to show links.
Show videos: Use to set whether or not to show videos.
Show notification: Use to set whether or not to show notifications.
Highlight search results: Use to set whether or not to highlight search results.
Note: This function might not always be available.
Make page-turning sounds: Use to set whether or not to make page-turning sounds.
Show menu explanations: Use to set whether or not to show explanation balloons for menus and buttons.

Automatic page turning

Title bar: Drag the title bar to move the automatic page turning palette position.
Show/minimize: Click to show or minimize the automatic page turning palette.
Close: Click to close the automatic page turning palette.
Automatic page turning: Click to automatically turn pages in the selected direction.
Stop: Click to stop automatic page turning.
Automatic page turning speed: Use this slider to adjust the automatic page turning speed.

Bookmark palette and bookmarks

Title bar: Drag the title bar to change the Bookmark palette position.
Show/minimize: Click to show or minimize the Bookmark palette.
Close: Click to close the Bookmark palette and stop adding bookmarks.
Bookmark: Select a color from among the three colors, and click on the page to add a bookmark.
Color selection: Click one of the three colors to change the bookmark color.
Bookmark: Drag the top bar to change the position of the Bookmark.
Erase: Click this to erase a bookmark.
Comment area: Comments can be input here.
Bookmark size: Drag the bottom right of the bookmark to adjust the size of a bookmark.

Depending on the customer’s operating environment, the number of bookmarks that can be used might be limited. In order to increase the bookmark limit, right-click to open the menu, and select "Settings…" to open the Adobe Flash Player Settings window. Select the "Local Storage" item (folder icon) and use the slider to increase the capacity. (See figure at left.)

If the amount of bookmarks exceeds the storage limit, the "Local Storage" window of the Adobe Flash Player Settings will open automatically. Click the "Allow" button to increase the available capacity.

Memo

Title bar: Drag the title bar to change the position of the Memo palette.
Show/minimize: Show or minimize the Memo palette.
Close: Close the Memo palette.
Curved line: By clicking and dragging, a curved line can be drawn.
Straight line: By clicking and dragging, a straight line can be drawn.
Rectangle: By clicking and dragging, a rectangle can be drawn.
Circle: By clicking and dragging, a circle can be drawn.
Eraser: A drawing can be erased by clicking on it or by clicking and dragging to select it.
Erase all: Click to erase all drawings on all pages.
Pen color: Click a swatch to select a pen color.
Preview: This shows a preview of the pen transparency and thickness.
Pen thickness: Use this slider to adjust the pen thickness.
Pen transparency: Use this slider to adjust the pen transparency.

Print

Title bar: Drag the title bar to change the position of the print palette.
Close: Click to close the print palette.
Click to print the left (right) page: Click a page to print it.
Note: This function might not always be available.
Print bookmarks: The bookmarks attached to the pages can be printed with them.

Print memos: The memos drawn on the pages can be printed with them.
Note: This function might not always be available.
Print a page range: Print the pages in the designated page range.

Show PDF

Title bar: Drag the title bar to change the position of the PDF display palette.
Close: Click to close the PDF display palette.
Click to show the left (right) page as a PDF: Click a page to open it as a PDF in a separate window.

Show all pages as a PDF: Click to open all pages as a PDF in a separate window.

Scroll bar

Page number: The page numbers are shown.

Zoom display

Title bar: The title bar can be dragged to change the position of the zoomed display area window.
Display all: Click to close the zoomed display area window, and return to full-screen display.
Show/minimize: Click to show or minimize the zoomed display area window.
Zoomed display area: The currently displayed zoomed area is indicated by a red frame.
Drag the red frame or click inside the spread to move the display area.

Move displayed area buttons: Mouse over the button that points in the direction that you want to move the display area.
Click to zoom in (or zoom out) and drag to move: Click on the page to zoom in (or zoom out), and drag to move the displayed area.

Clipping mode

Clipping area: Select the area to clip by clicking and dragging over the area that you want to clip.
Confirm clipping area: Click "Yes" to confirm the clipping area, or click "No" to cancel clipping.

Exit Clipping Mode: Click here to leave Clipping Mode.
