Based on the GX2040 Vision, the GX Strategic Zone was established in August 2025 as a concrete policy measure under Japan’s GX industrial Cluster Initiative.
In April 2026, six regions were selected as Promising zones under the Brownfield Transformation category of this strategy.
Three of the six regions that are particularly proactive in attracting overseas companies and promoting international collaboration will host pitch events to present their business environments and investment opportunities to international stakeholders.
This event provides a valuable opportunity to quickly understand each region’s strengths and investment potential.
A networking session will follow, enabling participants to connect directly with regional representatives. We encourage overseas companies interested in Japan’s business environment and foreign investors to join us.

This program aims to create “new industrial clusters” driven by the initiatives of local governments and businesses, with industrial resources such as former industrial complex sites and regionally concentrated decarbonized power sources serving as the core.

※In-person participation is limited due to venue capacity and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

■ Language: English (Note: There will be provided consecutive interpretation between Japanese and English for the Q&A session)
■ Target Participants:
- Foreign companies interested in entering, expanding, or forming partnerships in Japan (especially in the GX and deep-tech sectors), as well as foreign organizations such as foreign embassies and foreign chambers of commerce.
- Foreign investors interested in investing in the GX and deep-tech sectors (i.e. venture capitals)
- Public institutions and other organizations related to supporting overseas companies in their expansion into Japan, including local governments and business support organizations.
