Casebook on Investment Alliances with Japanese Companies

Investment alliances are one form of foreign direct investment, but the number of inward investment alliances in Japan is still at a low-level, in comparison to the other developed countries.

With these circumstances in mind, the Japanese Government is providing the “Casebook on Investment Alliances with Japanese Companies”, introducing the merits which investment alliances with Japanese companies present to foreign companies on this webpage.

This report has 45 cases examples of foreign companies who have received merits from investment alliances. Also, the report has extracted the success
factors for investment alliances with Japanese companies.

It aims to serve as a reference for foreign company executives and managers in understanding the attractiveness of investment in Japan, and raising their interests in investment alliances with Japanese companies.
