Name, Concept and Design for the Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan Women's Pavilion Announced

On March 8 (Wed.), a press conference was held to announce the official name, concept, architectural design, and other details for the Women's Pavilion, which will be exhibited at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.
On March 8, International Women's Day, a press conference was held in Tokyo for the Woman's Pavilion, which will be exhibited at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. The press conference was held by four organizers of Expo 2025, namely, the Cabinet Office, METI, Richemont Japan Limited Cartier, and the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition.
The press conference consisted of two parts. In the first part of the press conference, video messages were delivered by Mr. OKADA Naoki, Minister for the World Expo, and Mr. OGURA Masanobu, Minister in charge of Women's Empowerment and Minister of State for Gender Equality from the Cabinet Office, explaining the significance of the pavilion and the importance of gender equality. After which, Ms. MIYAJI Jun, President of Richemont Japan Limited Cartier, announced the pavilion's name, concept, architectural design, and other details of the pavilion.
The second part featured a talk session by experts who discussed the importance of an inclusive society, gender equality in the future, and other topics.
