Indonesia-Japan Fast Track Pitch 2025 to Be Held as the Fourth Event of ASEAN-JAPAN Fast Track Pitch 2025

December 18, 2025

In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation, in 2023 the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO), with government agencies of ASEAN member states, launched a cooperation scheme for new innovations called the ASEAN-JAPAN Co-Creation Fast Track Initiative. This initiative is intended to promote collaboration between Japanese and ASEAN companies for open innovation and co-creation. The Fast Track Pitch events held under the initiative to date have attracted a total of more than 2,650 people from a range of organizations including startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), large companies, investors and supporting organizations. These events have contributed to accelerating the implementation of various collaborative initiatives between Japanese and ASEAN companies.

This year, as the third round of this initiative, pitch events will be held in the following four countries: the Republic of Singapore (to be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026), the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (to be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2026), Malaysia (to be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026), and the Republic of Indonesia.
