Energy and Environment Policy

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and Ministry of Energy Transition and Water Transformation (PETRA) of Malaysia signed a letter of intent on cooperation in the field of energy security and energy transition under the framework of the Partnership on Wide Energy and Resources Resilience Asia (POWERR Asia).

As an outcome of the recent visit of H.E. Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, to Japan, METI and PETRA signed a letter of intent on cooperation in the field of energy security and energy transition.
