The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) Agreement will Enter into Force in the Philippines

On April 3 (Mon.), 2023, the Republic of the Philippines deposited its Instrument of Ratification of the RCEP Agreement to the Secretary-General of ASEAN (the Depositary). With this deposit, the RCEP Agreement will enter into force in the Philippines 60 days later, on June 2 (Fri.), 2023.
Philippines’ deposit of its Instrument of Ratification
On April 3 (Mon.), 2023, the Republic of the Philippines deposited its Instrument of Ratification of the RCEP Agreement to the Secretary-General of ASEAN (the Depositary).
With this deposit by the Philippines, the agreement will enter into force there on June 2 (Fri.), 2023. It has already entered into force in Japan, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam, Australia, China, Republic of Korea and New Zealand.
