Census of Manufactures
Explanation
This survey is conducted to clarify the actual conditions of the nation's manufacturing industry and obtain basic data for industrial policies. The Census of Manufacture is conducted on all establishments in years ending with 0, 3, 5 and 8 of the Western calendar year from 1981 to 2009. For other years, the Census covers establishments with four or more employees.
